Well, At Least I Have 146

Last week was a banner week for writing. I hit 3,774 words out of 2,500. It’s a good thing I did, because this week doesn’t look like it will be as stellar. Right now, I am going through the edited chapters that Chris Bullock, editor on Centurion, has delivered. It’s frankly exhilarating to have an editor, and such a good one. I’m really excited to see the changes suggested by Chris because they strengthen the prose. Don’t get me wrong, I like my writing – I am narcissistic, in exactly that way – but I know a second pair of eyes, especially a pair that has edited academic texts, can only make it better. Because re-writing doesn’t count for my writing target, I think I may need to piggy back on last week’s extra words this week and next.

Then again, who knows what tomorrow may bring!
