For My Next Trick . . .

  • by

I’m kind of at a loss. Now that I’ve finished writing Centurion, I don’t know what to do in my evenings. And then I remembered, hey, I have a blog. Maybe I should write something on that!

So here I am.

Yes, the writing for Centurion: Legionaries of Rome, the Kickstarter that successfully funded is done. Well, the first draft. It is going through editing now, so the writing is not completely done. There’s more work in the future.

And just in case you thought I’d get lazy, I have to start planning the next Kickstarter. The idea is to strike while the iron’s hot. Assuming we deliver Centurion on time, I need something to Kickstart to capitalize on that success, so much of this summer will be deciding what that will be, and getting it written. Unlike Centurion, I want something ready to go, already written. That’s not to say that it will be ready to drop, because I’m not going to commission the art, editing, or layout until I have the Kickstarter funds. It is to say that the pressure will be off me to produce, and I can focus on project management.

Stick around. I’ll probably be floating some ideas here as I gear up for round two.
