The Day the Bebop Stood Stillby FraserJanuary 16, 2009Keanu Reeves, who sometimes does well but more often than not, does not, will be taking on the role of Spike Spiegel in a live-action version of Cowboy Bebop. This does not fill me with joy. This is great for some characters supposed to feel emotionless, and dead inside (wonderful in the matrix) but suffers a lot when a little humanity would go a long way towards making his character anything less than annoying – like The Day the World Stood Still. But since CBebop is fairly awesome, let’s all hope for the best. Comments are closed.
